Abstract
The Bare-Throated Bellbird (Procnias nudicollis) is present in eastern Brazil, eastern Paraguay and northeastern Argentina. In Argentina, it has been recorded several times in Misiones and has been seen once in Corrientes, but the latter without evidence. Here we report the first record of the Bare-Throated Bellbird in Corrientes. The individual was detected from its vocalization, and then we observed it. The bird remained in the area from early morning until late afternoon, leaving the place the next day.
