First documented record, and new locations of Chestnut Seedeater (Sporophila cinnamomea) in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina

Abstract

The Chestnut Seedeater (Sporophila cinnamomea) is considered globally “vulnerable”. The province of Buenos Aires is the southern extreme of its distribution, where there were three previous visual records. Here we present the first and most southern documented record, and three new localities for Buenos Aires.
