Abstract
The Tawny-browed Owl (Pulsatrix koeniswaldiana) is a monotypic species, endemic to the Atlantic forest and one of the largest in that biome. It is distributed in southeast Brazil, east Paraguay and the extreme northeast of Argentina, where it is found in the provinces of Corrientes and Misiones. In the southern part of Misiones, the records are scarce. Here, we update the distribution of the Tawny-browed Owl in the southern part of Misiones, and report behavioral observations.
