First record of Pale-vented Pigeon (Patagioenas cayennensis) in Buenos Aires province, Argentina
Abstract
The Pale-vented Pigeon (Patagioenas cayennensis) concentrates its distribution in northern Argentina. Here we report the first documented record of the species in Buenos Aires, on March 8, 2025. This finding represents the southernmost record for the species.
