First records of the Brown Cacholote (Pseudoseisura lophotes) in Dique Ameghino, Chubut, and the southernmost reported to date

Abstract

The Brown Cacholote (Pseudoseira lophotes) is distributed in southern South America, up to the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén. In this note, I present records of the species in the locality of Dique Florentino Ameghino, Chubut province, Argentina. These are the southernmost records of the species to date.
