The Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl (Glaucidium brasilianum) is a small bird of prey easily observed in the City of Buenos Aires. However, to date there are no published nesting records in the City. In the present work we report four nesting events of Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl in two urban parks. The breeding events were recorded between 2015-2020. These records respond to a five-year follow-up in both green spaces, in which several specimens of ferruginous pygmy-owls were observed. We also report two predation events of Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl on an exotic reptile.
