Abstract
The Upland Goose (Chloephaga picta) breeds in southern Argentina and Chile, and during the winter part of its populations move to the Pampas region. In this work, we present the first record of the Upland Goose in the province of Córdoba. This individual was a solitary young female swimming in the coastal waters of Lake Embalse del Río Tercero, far to the north of its known range.
