Abstract
We present a new breeding locality for the Chilean Flamingo (Phoenicopterus chilensis), which is at the highest altitude in Patagonia and represents the first one located within a national park in Patagonia. Our record is of utmost importance for the conservation of the Southern Flamingo given the scarce nesting records for the species in the province, and the fact that this locality is within a protected area.
