Abstract

The West Peruvian Dove (Zenaida meloda) was first mentioned in Argentina in 2007, and since then it has spread throughout the west and certain sectors of the center of the country. Here we present new records of West Peruvian Dove for Santa Cruz, Argentina; this being one of the southernmost records known so far for this species. Moreover, we discuss the possible route of advance in Southern Patagonia.
