Abstract

The usual distribution of the Golden-rumped Euphonia (Chlorophonia cyanocephala) in Argentina spans the north-eastern provinces. In Santa Fe, the species was observed twice. Here we report the third observation for the species in that province and the first one documen- ted. These records are novel due to the latitude reached by this species within the regular winter migration pattern.
