New record of the Austral Rail (Rallus antarcticus) in Puerto San Julián, Santa Cruz
Abstract
The Austral Rail (Rallus antarcticus), once thought to be possibly extinct, was later rediscovered in Santa Cruz province. It is suspected to undertake migratory movements, although these are still poorly understood. Here we present a noteworthy record produced within a town on the Atlantic coast of Santa Cruz.
