Abstract

In 2024 and 2025, we recorded an individual of the Blue-and-yellow Macaw (Ara ararauna) in Punta Indio (Buenos Aires), more than 1000 km from its natural distribution. The uninterrupted records of the species in this region from 2022 to date reflect a great adaptation plasticity to new environments.
