Abstract
The Siete Islas lake is located in the Huelmo sector, Calbuco commune, Los Lagos Region, Chile. It is the largest body of inland water in the entire lagoon system of the commune, covering an area of 1.51 km². Here, we describe the avian community in the summer season from September 2019 to February 2020. We report on a nesting colony of the cormorant Nannopterum brasilianus, and provide reproductive data for two duck species: Anas flavirostris and Mareca sibilatrix.
