Abstract

We present the second record of the Ruby-Topaz Hummingbird (Chrysolampis mosquitus) in Paraguay, based on the observation and documentation of two individuals at the Monumento Natural Cerro Chovoreca, department of Alto Paraguay. This constitutes the first record in Paraguay with verified date and behavioral data.
