Abstract

The Scaled Pigeon (Patagioenas speciosa) has a wide distribution in Latin America, although scarce in Argentina. We report the first documented record of the species within a national protected area, which demonstrates the importance of national parks as reservoirs of biodiversity that encompass even the rarest species.
