Abstract
Kleptoparasitism is the theft of food by individuals of one species from conspecifics or individuals of another species. Here, I reported a case of kleptoparasitism by a Cocoi Heron (Ardea cocoi) on a Kelp Gull (Larus dominicanus), which occurred at the San Clemente del Tuyú estuary, Buenos Aires province, Argentina. This is a very unusual or rarely observed behavior in the Cocoi Heron.
