Abstract
The Red Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) is a shorebird that breeds in the Arctic regions and migrates mainly on oceanic routes. Here, I report the sighting of the Red Phalarope (Phalaropus fulicarius) near the urban area of San Martín de los Andes, Argentina, during the spring of 2020. The record was made in the COTESMA Urban Nature Reserve, contributing to the significance of this conservation unit for the protection of migratory species.
