Abstract
Here, I present a new food item of the Rufous-sided Crake (Laterallus melanophaius): Snail of the genus Biomphalaria (Planorbidae). In addition to providing novel knowledge about the diet of the Cinnamon Burrito, this record is relevant because Biomphalaria is a host species of the parasite Schistoma mansoni, which is a vector of the disease schistosomiasis.
