Abstract
During the non-breeding season, the Eastern Kingbird (Tyrannus tyrannus) migrates to South America, primarily settling in Peru and Brazil. The species has occasionally been reported in Argentina; in Buenos Aires province, it has been observed three times. Here, I report the presence of an adult Eastern Kingbird in Monte Hermoso, in the southwest of Buenos Aires, along with a behavioral description and a photo. This is the southernmost record of the species in Buenos Aires province.
