Abstract
The Paint-billed Crake (Mustelirallus erythrops) is a little-known species in Argentina, with records in the central and northern regions of the country. In this study, we present an individual of the Red-billed Rail captured by a domestic cat in the locality of El Calafate, Santa Cruz. Our report represents the first provincial record and the southernmost record of its distribution.
