Abstract
Hybridization is a phenomenon in which two different species reproduce and produce offspring. Within waterfowl, the Anatidae family has several records of hybridization, although mostly observed in the Northern Hemisphere. In this work, I report two different hybrid ducks: an individual of the Silver Teal (Spatula versicolor) with the Cinnamon Teal (Spatula cyanoptera), and another of the Cinnamon Teal (Spatula cyanoptera) with the Blue-winged Teal (Spatula discors). Both were documented within the Puan district, Buenos Aires province, and they represent the first documented records of these hybrids in Argentina.
