Resumen
En Bolivia hay muchos vacíos de información con respecto a la biodiversidad de aves, con el desarrollo de nuevas investigación y exploración de sitios en los últimos años se han ido encontrando nuevos registros y ampliación de distribución de muchas especies de aves. Durante los relevamientos de aves en la localidad Huertamayo de la provincia Vallegrande, registramos cuatro especies de aves poco conocidas para el departamento de Santa Cruz, dónde se amplió la distribución del Leque Leque Andino (o Tero Serrano; Vanellus resplendens), Yaka Yaka (o Carpintero Andino; Colaptes rupicola), Fringilo Plomizo (o Yal Plomizo; Geopizopsis unicolor) en el departamento, y se reportó el primer registro de Arriero Vientre Gris (o Gaucho Pardo; Agriornis micropterus), estos reportes contribuyen al conocimiento de la distribución de la avifauna en el país.
